First proper post of 2009!

I'm back at work after holidays now, and it's a bit of a shock! No more being lazy and sleeping lots :( It's nice to see everyone again though! It snowed a little over night too! Even though I don't like snow that much, it looks nice. I was sad that that I didn't have time to take any pictures in it ^^;

I don't normally make New years resolutions, but there are a few things I really want to do this year. One of them is to keep up with the Doll a Day challenge on flickr. It's the first time I've attempted any photo challenge.




I really want to try and photograph all the different types of doll I have, especially the ones who don't get much camera time. Here are the photo's from last week :

Starting doll a day!

2/365 - It's too cute for me!

3/365 - Cute like a cat

4/365 - these boots were made for stomping

I have a few other things I want to do in 2009! I really need to start photographing non dolly related things (and post them here, this journal needs some more variety! XD). I really need to start cooking more too, It's one of the things I miss from University.

I don't make resolutions either, but this year I am going to try earnestly to loose a little weight. I'm not going to freak out about that though, if I just get in better shape then it's all good to me. Your dolls are so pretty and your photos look fantastic! I missed seeing your Fanatica, she one of my favorites of yours. :D

Good luck with your getting fit! I've been trying to aswell, but Christmas ruined most of my hard work ^^; I'm glad you enjoy the pictures, I really want to improve over the next year. Fanatica has become on my favourite dollies, so I hope to take more pictures of her :)

Thank you! I'm surprised at how much I love her too, she's way more versatile than her stock look.

Doll a day is really fun! It's nice to see everyones different types of doll.

I always make new years resolutions...but they're always the same ones. So you can see how that normally goes for me :3.

The boots in the last picture are awesome.

I'm going to try my hardest! I'm suprised I've managed 12 days so far ^^;

I love the boots too! I'm waiting for my Minifee Miyu to get here because I think they will look good with her style.

Great lighting in the pictures! The colors are rich without being overpowering. :)

I want to try to take more pics of my less popular dolls, too. I'm trying to figure out a system to help me choose them randomly.

Thank you! I'm glad the colours look bright enough (I worry sometimes that they look a bit dull ^^; )

I need a dollie randomiser to pick out my dolls too! The It wouldn't be so hard to decide on who to photograph.
